Hookin2Hockey Schools can introduce new players to a game that provides fun, friendships and a lifelong love of an iconic Olympic sport, beginning in a school environment.

This program will teach students the basic skills giving them the opportunity to not only fall in love with our game, but providing them with a dream that one day they can represent Australia at the highest level of all, the Olympic Games. The Australian men’s and women’s teams are among the best teams in the world, giving equal opportunity to both young girls and boys.

Sporting Schools

Sporting Schools is a $320 million Australian Government initiative designed to help schools increase children's participation in sport and connect them with community sport opportunities. Sporting Schools offers grant opportunities for primary schools, and targeted grant opportunities for secondary schools in relation to year 7 and 8 students. Grants support the delivery of sport-based programs to help students build the confidence and capability to be active for life
