Next generation of hockey stars meet some of Australia’s top players in local clinics

With thanks to Hockey Australia, Hockey Queensland was able to offer two free ‘Hookin2Hockey Heroes Tour’ clinics in November.
They were hosted by Ipswich Hockey Association and Pine Hills Hockey Club (Brisbane Hockey Association).
During each session, students learned how to hold a stick properly and practised good ball movement techniques.
Also, they took part in mini games with a couple of Australia’s top hockey players including Morgan Mathison and Karissa van der Wath.
The event ended with a question-and-answer session and of course there was plenty of time for autographs and pictures too!
