Coaches Connect Over Coffee in Brisbane

The very first Coach Coffee Catch‑up kicked off Friday morning in Brisbane. Coaches gathered at The Blue Poppy in Morningside for an easy, drop‑in style meet‑up filled with conversation, ideas, and plenty of caffeine.

There was no agenda, just coaches connecting with other coaches, sharing experiences, and building community. Friday morning’s catch‑up marks the beginning of a new initiative designed to strengthen connection across the coaching community.

While the pilot is starting in Brisbane, the hope is to expand into regional areas soon. If you're part of a regional association and keen to explore bringing this idea to your area, you’re invited to reach out and start the conversation.

Hockey Queensland will be hosting a bonus Coaches Coffee Catch-up on Friday 5 June at 7 am in the State Hockey Centre Courtyard and Bar Area – simultaneous to the 13-19 Schoolboys State Championship.
