Hockey Queensland is delighted to announce that Chemist Warehouse has reaffirmed its commitment to our sport, signing a new three-year agreement as a Major Commercial Partner.
The renewed partnership, extending what is already a successful three-year relationship, ensures Chemist Warehouse will continue as the Naming Rights Partner of all Outdoor Junior State Age Championships. The junior events will proudly remain the Chemist Warehouse Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 State Championships through to 2028.
Chemist Warehouse’s ongoing investment plays a vital role in supporting grassroots hockey across Queensland. Their contribution helps reduce operational pressures associated with delivering large-scale events, allowing Hockey Queensland to provide high-quality championship experiences for young athletes, families and officials from every corner of the state.
Hockey Queensland CEO Alison Lyons said the continued partnership reflects a shared commitment to helping junior sport flourish.
“We are incredibly grateful to have Chemist Warehouse back on board for another three years. Their support of our Junior State Championships has strengthened the pathway for young Queenslanders and helped us deliver opportunities that inspire the next generation of players,” Ms Lyons said.
“Chemist Warehouse is a valued member of the Hockey Queensland community, and this renewed partnership highlights their belief in the growth of our sport and the importance of investing in youth development.”
Hockey Queensland looks forward to building on the strong momentum created over the first three years of the partnership, working alongside Chemist Warehouse to continue elevating junior hockey and supporting the thousands of families, volunteers and young athletes who make our sport thrive.
