Brisbane Tri-Series Wrap Up

From the 13th to the 21st of August, Hockey QLD proudly hosted the ‘Brisbane Tri Series’ between the Australian U21 Jillaroos, Japanese Women’s Club Team Coca Cola Red Sparks and QLD Women’s High Performance.
The series was held in conjunction with the Australian Jillaroos Camp which featured 9 Queenslanders.
The QLD Women’s High Performance Team included Olympians and former Hockeyroos, Brisbane Blaze team members and former Jillaroos athletes, and played in old QLD Scorchers bodysuits.
This was to celebrate & honour the proud history of QLD Women’s hockey and the success of the QLD Scorchers over past decades.
2 women who have paved the way through their years of inspiration and dedication for QLD are now the Women’s Hockey One coaching staff – Nikki Taylor and Angie Lambert OAM.
