Brisbane Blaze Fixture Announced for 2026

The Brisbane Blaze are set for an exciting 2026 Hockey One season, with a seven-round fixture that will see the club open at home in Brisbane against the reigning Men's Premiers Hockey Club Melbourne.
With the introduction of new franchise Melbourne Cobras to the competition, the 2026 Hockey One season will no longer feature a bye round, giving the Brisbane Blaze the exciting opportunity to host four home matches instead of three.
The Blaze will launch their campaign on Friday, 9 October at the Queensland State Hockey Centre, hosting HC Melbourne in front of a home crowd. The women’s side will begin the season at 6:30pm, followed by the men at 8:15pm.
Following the season opener, the Blaze will travel to Newcastle to face NSW Pride on Friday, 16 October, before returning home to take on Adelaide Fire on Saturday, 24 October.
A challenging road trip follows, with away fixtures against the Tassie Tigers on 31 October and the Perth Thundersticks on 7 November, before Brisbane returns home for a Sunday showdown with Canberra Chill on 15 November.
The Blaze will wrap up their regular season at home on Saturday, 21 November against new franchise Melbourne Cobras!
