Brisbane Blaze Unveils Final Squads for the 2025 Hockey One Season

The Brisbane Blaze has announced their final squad selections for the 2025 Hockey One season, showcasing an impressive blend of seasoned players and emerging talent ready to excel. Following a successful 2024 season—with the women’s team finishing second and the men’s team third—the Blaze continues their legacy as the only franchise consistently reaching the finals since the league's inception.

For the first time in five seasons, the Blaze has welcomed an interstate import, Australian Kookaburra Lachlan Sharp, adding depth and skill to the lineup. Several Blaze stars, including the Fitzpatrick sisters, Jacob Anderson, Lachlan Sharp, Tim Howard, and Corey Weyer, will initially play in European leagues before joining the squad in late October.

Players Tom Campbell, Noah Fahy, Matt Hawthorne, and Daykin Stanger will also miss the first two rounds, as they compete in the Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia with the Australian U21 team, the Burras.
