Brisbane Blaze dominate the JDH Hockey One League

The Brisbane Blaze became the first team to complete the Hockey One League trifecta winning the:

  • One Hockey Cup
  • Women's Championship
  • Men's Championship 

and taking home three trophies! 

The Blaze Men were the shootout kings at the Finals Main Event after emerging 5-3 winners on penalties after an epic JDH Hockey One League Men’s Grand Final decider with NSW Pride was locked 3-3 after full time.

Whilst the Blaze Women have returned to the JDH Hockey One League summit after a blistering final quarter performance lifted them to a 4-1 grand final win against a gallant Canberra Chill side.

Jacob 'Boccy' Anderson took out the League's Top Goal Scorer award accruing 8 goals in the regular season over a stunning 4 games. 

 

One Hockey Cup

Brisbane’s men and women came together this season to take out the inaugural One Hockey Cup. It came right down to the wire to determine the winner with Brisbane and NSW both level on points, wins and goal difference, however the Blaze’s superior goals for is what got them over the line.
