Hockey Queensland was proud to present the winners of the Annual Awards for 2025 on Saturday night 
The community came together at the Annual Awards Dinner held at The Greek Club in West End, Brisbane on Saturday 15th November 2025.
Three new Hall of Fame members were inducted – Mark Knowles, Matt Swann and Matt Gohdes.
Hockey Queensland were thrilled to be able to present these at the event.
Awards
The Annual Awards were in two categories – Achievement and Community.
The Hockey Queensland Achievement Awards celebrate those in hockey who had outstanding success in their field for 2025. These awards were voted on and decided by the relevant committees.
The Hockey Queensland Community Awards aim to celebrate those in our community that ‘go above and beyond’, without whom we wouldn’t be able to take the field each week.
Nominations for these awards were submitted by Associations and voted on by the community. Winners were decided by the community votes and the HQ Awards panel.
