HQ Academy and The Hockey Experience Face Off in Trans-Tasman Development Series

Hockey Queensland is proud to welcome athletes from New Zealand’s The Hockey Experience (T-H-E) for a three-day Trans-Tasman development series, running from 10–12 December 2025.

The series features nine games across boys’ and girls’ divisions, offering an exciting high-performance opportunity for our emerging Under 18 talent.
HQ Academy has entered two Boys teams – HQ Gold and HQLD – and one Girls team, while T-H-E has travelled across the ditch with a Boys and a Girls team.

This international series forms an important part of the HQ Academy pathway, providing athletes with meaningful competition, exposure to different playing styles, and the chance to test themselves against quality international opposition.

11 December 2025

• 3:30pm – T-H-E Girls vs HQ Girls(Girls)

12 December 2025

• 11:30am – HQ Gold vs HQLD(Boys)

• 1:00pm – HQ Girls vs T-H-E Girls(Girls)
