Hockey Queensland is calling for Association team nominations for the upcoming 2025 Open Women Indoor State Championship to be held in Toowoomba from Saturday 4th October to Monday 6th October 2025. Games will commence at 8am on Saturday 4th October 2025.
HQ Associations agree to the Team Entry fee of $587.00 (GST inclusive) per Team. Hockey Queensland will invoice Associations after every State Championships.
Team Nominations will close at 11:59pm Thursday 4th September 2025. Financial Penalties may apply if deadlines are not met.
All Team Officials and Players, Umpires and Technical Officials must be registered within RevSPORT portal. Players must have paid the Full Player Levy (Senior 10 Game and Casual Memberships are ineligible for all HQ State Championships and Events).
Associations must have a non-playing Team Manager, who holds no other role with the team, for all teams entered into the State Championships.
HQ will be appointing Technical and Umpire Panels to officiate on all games for the Opens Indoor State Championships only, Associations will not have to nominate an Umpire or Technical Official for this event.
Associations competing at any HQ Indoor State Championships acknowledge they are required to be available for the full duration of the Tournament, i.e. Associations need to ensure they have arranged players and team officials arrival prior to Day 1 of competition commencing, departure will be dependent on the Final day of competition's match schedule and will not be confirmed until during the Tournament. Associations are asked to ensure their departure is inline with the match schedule.
Managers, Technical and Umpire Meetings will be conducted online within 4-7 days leading up to the commencement of the Tournament. The relevant meeting online details will be provided to Associations, Managers, Technical and Umpires closer to the Tournament.
Acceptance of team nominations may be affected if the team nomination requirements are not met when entering Association teams
Minimum Age – All players to be 18 years of age at 31st December in the year that the competition is played. (Players who are 17 at the time of competition are eligible as long as they turn 18 in 2025)
Dispensation Requests – No dispensations will be given to players who do not meet the age requirement. HQ reserves the right to consider extenuating circumstances for Associations on a case by case basis. No decisions will set a precedent for future requests.
