Linda Hunter received the Hockey Australia Award of Merit during the Opening Ceremony of the Australian Women’s Masters Championships. Additionally, Hockey Australia honored Linda for her exceptional contributions to Women’s Masters Hockey by renaming the Over 65 Women's Masters Championships Trophy as the Linda Hunter Trophy.
Based at the Queensland State Hockey Centre in Brisbane, the Brisbane Blaze TAFE at School Program promotes excellence by equipping senior high school hockey players with the right tools to pursue success in and outside the hockey arena, while providing a clear pathway to employment in the sports industry.

An Australian SIS/SAS Men’s Invitational team has been selected to play in a series of four matches against the Malaysian U21 National Team at the State Hockey Centre, Brisbane between 24th and 31st July.
