Expressions of Interest are being called for the following Hockey Queensland Indoor Team Officials: Coach, Manager, Selector and where possible Assistant Coach. EOI Nominations close Midnight Sunday 21 July.
These EOI's are to select and manage Hockey Queensland Indoor Teams competing in the Hockey Australia Indoor Nationals Championships tentatively scheduled for December 2024 (Opens and U21), and January 2025 (U14, U16, U18). The venue has not been officially determined by Hockey Australia.
The following Hockey Queensland Indoor Teams are expected to be selected (pending available player numbers)
- 2 teams each: Under 14 Boys, Under 14 Girls, Under 16 Boys, Under 16 Girls, Under 18 Mens, Under 18 Women's
- 1 team each: Under 21 Mens, Under 21 Women's, Open Mens and Open Women's.
U14 and U16 teams will not be accommodated together at the National Championships. U18, U21 and Opens teams may be accommodated together after consultation with the appointed coaching staff.
The State Championships are planned as following. Selectors (of which the Head Coach is included) will be required to be in attendance for the full duration of the event.
