HockeyQLD is calling for nominations for the 2024 Hockey Qld Under 21 trials to be held at State Hockey Centre from Friday 19th January - 20th January, 2024.
Nominations Open: Wednesday 11 October
Nominations Close: Midnight Sunday 12 November
The 2024 National U21 Championships are being held in Newcastle, NSW from 13-20 March, 2024.
Trial Dates: 19-20 January, 2024
Associations can nominate their own players.
Individual players can nominate themselves.
Players must be born 2003 onwards. Players must be registered to play in QLD in 2024 to be eligible.
We are accepting nominations from players who are U18 if they represented the QLD Maroon (#1) team in 2023. Any U18 players who are Nationally identified will be accepted. Any players who are ageing out of U18’s in 2024 will be accepted.
Once nominations have closed the QLD Selectors will select the players to trial and these will be published on the HockeyQLD website on Tuesday 14th November.
*Nominating does not guarantee selection into the final squad to attend trials 19-20 January.*
Please note: There is no nomination fee when originally nominating, but if selected to attend the trials 19-20 January, 2024, there will be a small fee to attend the QLD U21 trials.
