OAMPS Traineeships

OAMPS Queensland Blades squad member Matthew Gohdes has recently been selected from a number of elite Queensland hockey players that applied to undertake a traineeship with OAMPS Insurance Brokers. OAMPS is the insurance provider for Hockey Queensland and proud naming rights sponsor of the Queensland AHL teams.

Matthew is following in the footsteps of fellow OAMPS Blade member Jason Wilson, who commenced a traineeship with OAMPS Insurance Brokers in February.

The traineeship program offers a fantastic opportunity for hockey players to learn about the insurance industry from the ground up, providing the trainees with a strong blend of practical and theoretical training with flexible working hours to accommodate hockey training and tournaments. At the conclusion of the traineeship, Matthew and Jason will receive a Certificate III in Financial Services and will be FSRA Tier 2 compliant.

OAMPS Insurance Brokers and Hockey Queensland look forward to continuing to work together to implement a range of initiatives that benefit both of our organisations and the hockey community throughout the State.
