Hockey Qld is seeking suitable applicants for the role of REGIONAL COACHING DIRECTOR to work in the Rockhampton and Gladstone regions.
This region has a rich and proud history in hockey producing a host of champions including the recently named 2011 World Player of the Year Jamie Dwyer. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, passionate coach who is looking to make a difference in the region.
The role is a full time appointment for a two year period with options.
The successful applicant would be based in Rockhampton and expected to travel to Gladstone for approximately 2-weeks in each month.
You will work with the Rockhampton and Gladstone Hockey Associations to develop, implement and monitor an annual plan focused on the recruitment, retention and development of players and coaches in the region.
To be successful in the role you must:
• Be a minimum Level 1 accredited hockey coach;
• Hold a current drivers licence and current Blue Card;
• Have your own car;
• Be highly organised and self-motivated; and
• Have a passion for the sport of hockey.
