Queensland drew Australian Capital Territory 1-1 (0-1 halftime)
Goals: ACT C Bailey-Price 8m FG, QLD S Pavish 43m FG

Today's game started with a Queensland penalty corner within the first minute of the game. Unable to convert the penalty, ACT turned the game around with Catriona Bailey-Price putting ACT's first on the board.  Queensland's Courtney Mackay made an amazin save and blocked an ACT shot for goal to prevent them from stretching their lead before half time.

Queensland's Sam Pavish, who broke her hand in an earlier match, equalised the game early in the second half.  As the goals stopped and the rain started the game ended the same as it began with Queensland getting another chance to win with a penalty corner inside the last minute.  The scores remain deadlocked, but should still see Queensland in the top four heading into the finals on Friday.

Day 7 - Monday 26 July - Rest Day

Day 6 - Sunday 25 July
Queensland drew New South Wales 2-2 (1-1 halftime)
Goals: QLD K Johnson 22m PC, K Olivieri 48m FG, NSW E Smith 13m FG, E Smith 39m PC

An important game for both teams today, particularly for New South Wales, needing a win to keep their top four chances alive.  After an injury to New South Wales player Lee Tamsin, Emily Smith was flown in late yesterday to take her place.  Emily proved her flight was worth every penny by scoring both of NSW goals today.

Both teams applied pressure in attack and defence which meant there were a high number of turnovers.  Both teams had a number of opportunities for goal, NSW goal keeper Jocelyn Bartram saved a powerful attempt at goal by Queensland fully out stretched.  Queensland's Keeper Emily Burrows also made some amazing saves, and was kept busy at the other end of the field.

Queensland's Kirstin Johnson scored from a penalty corner, and in the 48th minute Kandice Olivieri showed great reflexes to knock a loose ball in to level the scores.

In the dying minutes of a fiery game, both teams were down to ten players and the scores remained deadlocked.

Day 5 - Saturday 24 July
Queensland def Tasmania 1-0 (1-0 halftime)
Goals: QLD K Marks 18m FG

Both teams had plenty on the line leading into today's game with the winner being clear leaders on the ladder.  Tasmania had the run on early today until Queensland scored against the flow of the game.  Katelin Marks snapped a goal into the net at the 18th minute for Queensland who then maintained control of the game into the half time break.

The game was evenly contested throughout, with Tasmania unable to capitalise on a number of shots from the field or corners.  Tasmania were down to ten players in the last fifty seconds of the game with the siren sounding with no further additions to the score.  Queensland broke an outstanding Tasmanian 12 game winning streak, after having gone through last year's championship undefeated, winning the 2009 title, and having won their first three games in Brisbane.  Queensland have stopped the run, and have continued their impressive display of teamwork and skills on the field.
