National U21 Women Starts
The Australian Under 21 Women’s Championship will be held at the State Hockey Centre in Brisbane from Tuesday 20 July to Saturday 31 July. Queensland who won the Australian Under 21 Women’s title in 2006 and 2007 finished runners-up in 2008 and this year will seek to improve on their fifth placing in 2009.
The competition promises to be fierce for the National title with 2010 Hockeyroo Squad members Anna Flanagan of the ACT and Heather Langham of NT to be in the mix of talent on show together with 2010 Hockeyroo Development Squad members Catriona Bailey Price of the ACT, Jade Warrender of NSW, Kirsten Johnson of QLD, Nina Khoury of TAS, Ashlee Wells of VIC and Kate Denning of WA.
Results will be updated online throughout the championships. Entry is free, and games are 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm daily (with the exception of rest days 23, 26, 29 July)
