Athlete Development Structure

The attached document outlines the “Hockey Queensland Development Pathway”. This structure provides all players throughout Queensland with a clear and transparent “Whole of State” pathway through an integrated programme. Hockey Queensland players will be able to enter the structure, and progress with support and opportunities. There will also be initiatives such as “Visiting Scholarships” for regionally based Athletes and Coaches into the centralised QAS Primary Programme. The program will also allow improved communication, athlete tracking and reporting procedures between key working parties including (but not limited to) Hockey Queensland, Regional Coaching Directors, Hockey Queensland Coach Manager and QAS coaches.
