2012 Officitating Availability Nomination Form

Hockey Queensland are now calling for nominations for officiating positions for 2012. Please complete the Officiating Nomination form and return via email by 7th Feb 2012 to competitions@hockeyqld.com.au. Please also familiarise yourself with Hockey Queensland's Code of Behavours for Officials. This can be found under 'Development' & 'Officiating'.

2008/ 2009 Rules

Download a copy of the FIH 2008/ 2009 Rules of Hockey. PLEASE NOTE - Free Hit Rule Implementation: That the recommendation as follows from Hockey Australia be adopted by Hockey Queensland. Hockey Australia recommends to all State and Regional Associations that the change to the FIH rules is adopted for all competitions. FIH State : One of the objectives of the FIH and therefore of the Hockey Rules Board (HRB) is to decrease the number and duration of interruptions to the flow of play and to increase the length of time the ball is in active play. A “self-pass” from a free hit has therefore been introduced. It enables the player taking the free hit to play the ball again after taking the free hit which will encourage free-flowing hockey.

2012 Tech Officiating Expressions of Interest

In order to ensure we are scheduling Technical Official courses at the best times and locations, we would like you to complete this Expression of Interest Form.　The form is designed to collate names and contact details of potential course candidates and to gauge the potential numbers for each of the courses and your preferred dates.　If you are interested in attending a Technical Official course prior to the commencement of the 2012 season, please complete the EOI form and return it to Lindsey Leck at LLeck@hockeyqld.com.au before Wednesday 21 December 2011.
