Coaching - the benefits
Formally known as National Coaching Accreditation (NCAS), HockeyEd has a new structure in place. How will this effect you? Am I still accredited? For answers to all your questions and more keep reading...
Since the launch of the new HockeyEd programs in April, Hockey Australia has received very positive feedback and overseen encouraging increases in accredited coaches and umpires. Over 750 new coaches/ umpires are in the process of completing their Community or Beginner accreditation and 300 have already become accredited.
As you may be aware one of the additional inclusions of the new HockeyEd accreditation structure will be the introduction of a HockeyEd Membership as part of your accreditation. Currently accredited personnel will have the option of purchasing a membership to receive access to a number of exciting membership benefits specific to their level of accreditation. The HockeyEd Membership will be available for purchase online from 15th January 2008. What are the benefits of being a member?
Any new accreditations, upgrades or renewals will be valid for a period of two years from the 1st October in the year in which it was obtained. Therefore, all current accreditations will be adjusted to the common expiry date of 1st October in the year in which their accreditation is due to expire.
