In an agreement, which includes a range of marketing and hospitality benefits, will see Canterbury International supply the OAMPS Queensland Blades and OAMPS Queensland Scorchers mens' and womens' hockey teams with apparel to wear in the Australian Hockey League (AHL) tournaments from 2010-2012, as well as outfitting Queensland's representative hockey teams.

Hockey Queensland's General Manager Garry West-Bail said that the tender opportunity received the most submissions in the organisation's history and Hockey Queensland is pleased to be partnering with such a well-respected company.

"Garment quality was paramount to the selection process, as our teams need to wear uniforms that are comfortable and durable when representing their State and of course we want them to look good while being at the cutting-edge of design", said West-Bail.

"Canterbury Clothing Company impressed us with their high standards of service and quality and their reputation in the sporting industry is excellent".

Canterbury International General Manager - Teamwear, Clayton McErlane, commented "Canterbury is proud to be partnering Hockey Queensland and looks forward to a strong association.  We view this relationship as an exciting opportunity not only to be on the back of Queensland's best state players, but to further our presence in the community of hockey. We hope that our brand image supports and motivates the team and hockey community alike to a successful season".

Hockey Queensland's 2010 uniform will see the women's teams move away from bodysuits and play in 2 piece, as well as the introduction of exciting new garmets for the public to purchase, including hoodies, supporter polos and shorts.
