Canterbury contributes to disaster relief with $10,000 offer for free local sports uniforms

— filed under:

In support of all local sports groups across Queensland recently affected by natural disasters, Canterbury International together with QSport is offering $10,000 worth of free uniforms to be supplied evenly between ten local clubs or teams within the state.

General Manager of Canterbury Team Wear Clayton McErlane said Canterbury look forward to playing a significant role in helping local sports groups get back on their feet following the devastation experienced earlier this year.

“At the best of times new uniforms boost the morale of any club or team,” Clayton said.

“Canterbury is proud to be supplying ten local sports groups with a such a boost when it’s most needed,” he said.

To apply for one of Canterbury’s $1,000 uniform packages, in 200 words or less local clubs or teams just need to explain why they require the uniforms and submit their entry to daniel@majorleague.com.au by Friday 4th March.

Ten local clubs or teams will be selected to receive the uniform packages by Major League Corporate Marketing based on each submission’s individual merit.

The successful applicants will be contacted by Friday 11th March.

The winners will also be displayed on the front page of Major League’s website at www.majorleague.com.au.
