Hockey Queensland is hosting some of Australia’s most promising hockey talent at Kedron High School This week.

The local high school’s facilities will cater for all matches played in the 2012 Australian Under 18 Men’s and Women’s Indoor Hockey Championship between Monday January 9 and Saturday January 14.

Men’s and women’s teams from all Australian states and territories will compete at the championship and spectators are encouraged to attend for no fee to enjoy the action.

In 2012, Queensland’s under 18 women’s indoor team will be seeking to avenge their grand final loss in 2011 to Victoria.

Meanwhile, Queensland’s under 18 men’s indoor team will be aiming to build on their fifth place finish in 2011
