About Atherton Tableland Hockey Association:

The Atherton Hockey fields are situated at Loder Park on the Corner of Turner Avenue and Grau Street. The facilities include 5 grass fields and a licensed Clubhouse/Canteen.

Sign-on is held on a Sunday in February each year, the season commences in April and finals are held in September. All fixtures are held on Saturday in all age groups and over 500 players enjoy the family orientated sport and social atmosphere. Players are drawn from all of the Atherton Tableland towns, including Atherton, Herberton, Kairi, Malanda, Millaa Millaa, Mareeba, Ravenshoe, Tolga and Yungaburra.

Atherton Hockey is not divided into clubs and the 40 odd teams are managed by the association’s committee together with a delegate from each team. The success of Atherton Hockey is due to our many volunteer’s commitment, effort and passion.
