About Rockhampton Hockey Association:

Rockhampton Hockey Association was formed in 1930. Fixtures currently played through the association are:

• Monday Night – A2 Men
• Friday Night – A2 Women
• Saturday Mornings – Minkey, U12 and U15 boys and girls
• Saturday Afternoons – A1 and A3 Men and A1 Women
• Sunday Afternoons – A3 Women

The association is a member of the Central Queensland Hockey Association Inc. In 2007, Gladstone and Rockhampton employed a full-time Regional Coaching Director, Neil Shearer. Neil travels to Gladstone for a week once a month and the remaining three weeks in Rockhampton. Each season Rockhampton and Gladstone A1 men and women compete in a Central Queensland Hockey League on a home-and-away format from April to August.
