About Mackay Hockey Association (MHA):

Mackay Hockey formed in 1948.  Players play at the grounds in Harney Street Mackay. Club fixtures are played on Saturday and Sunday afternoons in Division A1, A2, A3 Men and Women for anyone over the age of 12.

Hook in 2 Hockey is available for children under the age of 12, HinH is a modified hockey programme which introduces beginners to the game while working on skills rather than competitions for other juniors.  Children play for the school they attend or join a close school if numbers are not available.  The Mackay School Hockey Association conducts fixtures for school age children on a Friday night and Saturday morning. 

Veteran Men and Women play fixtures on a weeknight.

Mackay is a member of the Central Queensland Hockey Association. 

Mackay has a proud history in representative team selections and players at Queensland level.
