Youth Leadership Award
Congratulations Anna Mehonoshen from Queensland on being chosen as the Hockey Australia Youth Leader National Winner. Anna will represent Australia at the 5th World Hockey Youth Promoters Festival 2010 being held in Monchengladbach, Germany from the 1st – 7th August 2010.
Hockey Queensland alone were inundated with nominations for the Hockey Australia Youth Leader Certificate. It was certainly hard to choose just two to send through to Hockey Australia, however Anna’s dedication to her club in a number of different roles was something we could not ignore. As Georgia Green from Hockey Australia mentions on their website, Anna has definitely shown true leadership and to be an outstanding role model for young players in the work she does for Kedron Wavell Services Hockey Club here in Brisbane.
Anna will represent Australia at the 5th World Hockey Youth Promoters Festival 2010 being held in Monchengladbach, Germany from the 1 – 7 August 2010. What an amazing opportunity for Anna and one that is well deserved.
