Wanderers Australia is the official hockey tour provider for Hockey Queensland. The Wanderers teams consist of individual players from across Queensland and Australia. Over 2000 players have travelled on tour since 1998.

Opens 18+ Years - Tour to South America & New Zealand - Easter 2011
Wanderers will be taking 1 mens (14 players maximum) and 1 ladies team (14 players maximum) who will tour together, as well as non playing partners, friends and tourists..who are most welcome !
The tour will commence in New Zealand, where we will travel to Rotorua and Taupo, and have a chance to do street luge, jetboating, and other adventure activities, as well as play a match in the Waikato region.
The tour will then fly to Argentina, where you will play 4 matches against local club teams. The matches will be broken up with a trip to the stunning Iguazu Falls in the Jungle of northern Argentina near the border with Brazil and Paraguay.... the second biggest waterfalls in the world behind Victoria falls in Zimbabwe.
The tour will finish with a visit to Brazil and Rio De Janeiro ! We are also looking at the possibility of playing the Braziliian national teams if they are available !
The tour will be accompanied by leading representative coaches from Queensland, NSW and Victoria.
Junior Tour to UK & Europe - January 2011
Wanderers will be taking 2 girls teams (26 girls total) and 1 boys team (14 boys total) who will tour together throughout the UK and Europe
Our girls first team is mainly for players who have played representative or state level before, whilst our second girls team is for those who play at a local club or school level.
ALL abilities and levels in both boys and girls are more than welcome. Each team on tour will play approximately 8 matches in total against school, club and representative teams.
Again, representative level coaches will accompany the teams on tour.
Junior Tour to Canada & USA - Easter 2011
By popular demand, a new tour is now in the planning stages to Canada and USA for the Easter 2011 School holidays.
This tour will be open to any player aged 14 to 18 at the time they tour, and we will be taking 1 girls and 1 boys team away (26 players in total). The tour will be accompanied by experienced Wanderers staff who are representative level hockey coaches and have traveled on many Wanderers Tours before. Each team will play approx 6 matches on tour.
The tour will commence in Vancouver for matches against local teams, a chance to see the NHL ice hockey live, before heading via scenic ferry to Victoria on Vancouver Island where we will play some matches against local teams, and where you can also go killer whale watching and see huge leopard seals in the wild. The tour may also head to a local ski resort for 2 days where players can try skiing or snowboarding for the first time.
The tour will then conclude with a few days in Los Angeles, where you will have the chance to visit Universal Studios and Disneyland, maybe an NBA game featuring the Lakers or the Clippers, as well as shopping in Santa Monica and Hollywood !
1 boys team and 1 girls team will travel together and non playing parents are also most welcome !
Again, representative level coaches will accompany the teams on tour.
