History of Hockey Queensland
On the 11th November 1995, a date marking the past 75 years of independent operation, a new constitution was adopted at the inaugural Annual Meeting.
The combined Hockey Queensland structure boasts gender equity, maintained funding levels to men's and women's programs, accountabilty to members, development of remote sub associations with special needs and better utilisation of assets.
Hockey Queensland is proud of its association as an inaugural sport with the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS).
